      The VoiceKent Community Survey:  Insights & Tools for Your Mission Part of the Johnson Center's FREE Brown Bag Lunch & Learn series Where do disparities exist in Kent County? How do outcomes and challenges differ among our neighborhoods and among different demographic groups? The VoiceKent community survey, administered by the Johnson Center for Philanthropy with input from community partners, connects Kent County demographic data with the opinions, attitudes, and perceptions of residents. Topics covered by the survey’s results include employment, education, racism and discrimination, ability to meet basic needs, access to health care, and neighborhood safety. These data and insights are available to you and your organization to help prompt important conversations and shape your programming and policy decisions. In this session you will learn about: VoiceKent’s survey topics, methodology, and results How to use online tools to find VoiceKent data that meets your needs Information on future administrations of the survey Led by: Rachel Borashko and Jamie DeLeeuw, Ph.D.Cost: Free! Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch to this event. Water, coffee, and tea will be provided. Rachel Borashko is a data analyst at the Johnson Center for Philanthropy. In this role, she is responsible for data processing, analysis, visualization, and research design. Learn more about Rachel. Jamie DeLeeuw, Ph.D., is a research manager for the Johnson Center for Philanthropy. Jamie designs, implements, and manages community-based research projects, including those centered on collective impact initiatives and organizations’ impact on students’ educational success.
