Official Match Card: “The 7 Mile Destroyer” Isaiah Broner VS Max Morrison: Pure Pro Wrestling is proud to announce the debut of Isaiah Broner the super heavyweight out of Detroit, Michigan. Over the past two years Broner has been building a reputation for himself in various Midwest independent promotions and after smashing nearly all the competition he showed up on PPW’s radar like a category 5 hurricane. At 6’4 240+ pounds, Broner is a force to be reckoned with. His personal Facebook account is flooded with power lifting accomplishments and clips of his favorite moments of destruction. Recently Broner went viral after tossing another grown man 20 feet in the air out of the ring into an entire section of seating. After making waves in the indies, Broner will make his PPW debut on December 14th in Holland, Michigan at “Twas the Fight Before Christmas” featuring WWE / ECW legend Sabu. Check out this throw: https://www.facebook.com/IsaiahBroner313/videos/2233702606928305/ Broner will face 20 year West Michigan veteran Max Morrison who’s unique wrestling style and in ring ingenuity has earned him several titles across the Midwest. Morrison is currently on a hot streak has he’s been putting of miles on his boots as of late. Morrison is nearly half the size of Broner, however the technical prowess of this cagey throwback grappler may prove to be the right formula to pick up a win over the dominant heavyweight. It all goes down on December 14th in Holland, get your tickets today! The Dark Lord Asmodeus VS Jack Verville Jack Verville is a West Michigan favorite who is a true crossover combat sports athlete. Verville has had a great career in Michigan and is widely considered one of the best wrestlers in the Western part of the state. When he’s not in the squared circle he’s on the mat training and competing in various forms of mixed martial arts and catch wrestling. Verville’s slender frame, strength, and flexibility make him a tough customer for any wrestler to deal with. With his extensive knowledge of submission wrestling he has the ability to beat a wrestler of any size and caliber. As Jack always says, “It takes 3 second to win a match, but it only takes 1 second to make them tap.” The real question will be can he make a 6’3 245 pound man tap out? Verville’s opponent on December 14th at the VFW in Holland is new to the West side fans, but Mid Michigan fans know the “Dark Lord” Asmodeus as one of the most awe inspiring athletes on the PPW roster. With nearly 20 years of experience under his belt Asmodeus has found success all over the United States. Since his debut in PPW he has taken the legendary Gideon Malice to his limits countless times and most recently defeated PPW Hall of Famer “Big” Chuck Wagon. The Dark Lord is a true monster of the ring and if he gets catches Verville with his guard down it will be lights out. Sources both to close camps have confirmed that both Verville and Asmodeus are ready for a fight, but the question remains...Is Holland ready? Get your tickets now! 2 Out of 3 Falls for the Michigan State Tag Team Championships: The Destroyers (c) VS Tenshi & Malice This past October the legendary duo of Tenshi & Malice defeated The Nomads to earn a shot at Michigan’s Tag Team Championships currently held by The Destroyers. Freedom Ramsay & Cobra TA have been on an amazing winning streak as while putting together one of the most exciting tag team title runs in recent PPW history. Malice & Tenshi have been hot on the tails of Ramsay & Cobra for the past few months after a string of closely contested matches. However The Destroyers have found a way to win each time, albeit a source of controversy. After the last match between the two teams ended in highway robbery, PPW Officials have decided to sign a match that will help to settle the score once and for all. On December 14th in Holland, Michigan PPW fans will be treated to a special 2 out of 3 Falls Tag Team Title match with a little bit of a twist.. Falls 1 & 2 will be contested under traditional tag team rules, however if the contest should go to a 3rd fall, Tornado Rules will go into effect. For those new to wrestling, Tornado Rules is an adjustment to the match where both members of a team may be in the ring at one time. Tags and count outs will be suspended as well. With the adjustment to the traditional 2 out of 3 falls, PPW officials hope that a true championship team can be crowned without any further controversial decisions. This incredible match will go down on December 14 in Holland, get your tickets today! Loser Leaves the Nomads: Road Rash Vs “Nomad Enforcer” CJ Anderson W/ Special Ref Ace Evans: As the year winds down and PPW looks to 2020, the Nomads can’t help but to reflect on the roller coaster of highs and lows 2019 brought to the outlaw band of grappler greats. 2019 brought some big wins and championship belts, but it also brought soul crushing defeat, suspensions, injuries, and dissension among the group. When CJ Anderson, Moe Evans, Ace Evans, and Road Rash enter the ring with Donahue in their corner they seem full of confidence and bravado, but behind the scenes their turmoil in the clubhouse. For the past year the Evans Brothers & Donahue have had to mediate what seems to be constant bickering between the “Nomad Enforcer” CJ Anderson & Road Rash. PPW fans have witnessed shades of the arguing during videos shot by the group, including a moment where Road Rash “accidentally took a hammer to Anderson.” The negativity in the group has carried over in the ring and as a result the Nomads have been struggling to regain championship status. PPW Officials received a “contract” written in blood on a folded up beer covered napkin which was believed to be an agreement between CJ Anderson & Road Rash to wrestle a match on December 14th in Holland, MI. The loser of the match would be forced to leave the Nomads. PPW has opted to facilitate the big match and now Holland fans will witness the biggest match in Nomad history where one man will have to walk away for good. To make things even more interesting, the VFW Post in Holland who is the host for the event booked the Nomads to host a special Nomad Power Hour at the post bar with $3 domestic specials & deals on other drinks. The post commander wasn’t aware that Anderson & Road Rash were in a feud and now with wrestlers scheduled to be a part of the affair anything could happen. Let’s just hope the VFW beefed up their insurance policy. Nomad Power Hour + Feuding Nomads = a moment in time that YOU cannot miss! Extreme Rules Main Event: ECW / WWE Legend Sabu VS DTA’s Aaron Orion Michigan’s most decorated wrestler and Death Threat Army leader Aaron Orion will go to war with WWE / ECW legend Sabu in an Extreme Rules Main event. To make matters even more exciting WWE Alumni Melissa Coates aka Super Genie will be in Sabu’s corner. For the past several decades Sabu has competed across the globe in the most insane and death defying matches ever witnessed by man. Sabu is infamous for using his body as a lethal weapon. Sabu loves to use an array of ladders, tables, chairs, and of course barbed wire! But when Sabu pulls out the iron spike made famous by his Uncle the Original Sheik fans won’t believe that they are seeing! Across the ring from the legendary Sabu is US Army Veteran Aaron Orion, a man who is widely considered to be one of the best wrestlers in the Midwest and Canada. Orion is a former Michigan State Heavyweight Champion and the current holder of several notable titles from top Midwestern independent promotions. Orion has been featured on WWE TV and hopes to pick up a win over Sabu to help further his efforts to take his career to the next level. Fans in Holland have a chance to witness an independent dream match that could very well wind up being the match of the year. It all goes down in the main event in Holland, Michigan on December 14th. Don’t miss a rare chance to see Sabu go extreme for perhaps his last time in West Michigan! Get your tickets today! WWE Alumni Melissa Coates to be in Sabu’s Corner on Dec. 14 in Holland PPW is happy to announce that WWE Alumni & long time professional body builder Melissa Coates will be dawning her Super Genie persona as her main man Sabu takes on Aaron Orion in an Extreme Rules Main Event at the Holland VFW. Trained by the legendary Killer Kowalksi, Coates enjoyed a wrestler career that took her all the way to the WWE where she found success in Ohio Valley Wrestling, which used to be a long time development territory for the world’s biggest brand of wrestling. After leaving WWE Coates continues to compete on the independent circuit while spending time modeling. The Super Genie persona was developed by Sabu and Coates and now the two veterans spend their time traveling the world as a tandem act. With Super Genie in his corner Sabu will have a distinct advantage over the much younger Orion. Tickets to the event are on sale now!
